Dumbbell Tricep Kickbacks
I've heard that Tricep Kickbacks are "worthless" that they're "not effective" or "a waste of time." I've even heard that research supports that they're not an effective tricep builder.
I've personally never seen said study and think that all research should be taken with a grain of salt. But when in doubt, go by experience. Bench Press and heavy dips will always be a superior tricep builder. But I know that after a great bench press session I can get one helluva Tricep pump from kick backs. I feel the concentrated contraction and can do this movement without wearing down my shoulders.
Tips: My elbows Dont completely straighten out. I think it's a combination of hours of playing the violin and doing a shit ton of Bicep Curls. If you don't have this problem make sure you get your arm parallel to the ground and don't swing the weight behind you. Keep it controlled and really squeeze at the top!
