The Bench Press
The Bench Press is one of THE most popular exercises at the gym and probably the most popular barbell movement.
I see people hop onto the bench and do things that are going to truly mess them up years, months, weeks, or even days down the line. The Bench Press is not a natural movement, but there are ways to make the movement more "natural."
The key is the set up. Make sure you retract your scapula, keep a slight arch in your back, but keep your butt and upper back firmly attached to the bench.
If you're giving yourself a liftoff? Imagine you're bending the bar into the right position for the bar path.
